Where will our games be played?
Milwood Little League plays its games at Vanderberg Park, which is located at
3401 Lovers Lane
Kalamazoo, MI 49001 (behind Milwood Elementary School)

For teams that participate in inter-league games or tournaments, there will be road games at other sites in the area.


When is Registration?
Registration for the Spring Season typically begins in January.


Are Scholarships available?
Yes! All little leaguers are eligible to apply for the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant. Funds are distributed only as they are available; as such, early application is strongly advised. Grant applications typically become available mid-late spring.

What is the cost of registration?
The registration fee is $125, plus a $25 mandatory fundraising fee, for a total cost of $150. Families with more than one player receive a discount. Scholarships are available for families with financial need – please reach out for information.


When are practices and games scheduled? Practices for the Spring Season typically start in late March/early April.  The season kicks off on the first Saturday in May and runs through June. 


TEE BALL and BASEBALL MINORS DIVISIONS. Practice and game schedules vary and are set by the team coach. Coaches will do what they can to work with families through the scheduling process. Players should expect to play 2 times/week for 45 -60 minutes each time. Practices and games could be scheduled any day Monday - Thursday evenings; occasionally teams will play on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. 


BASEBALL & SOFTBALL LITTLE MAJORS and 50/70 DIVISIONS typically practice and play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for up to two (2) hours starting at 6:00 PM unless otherwise noted. However, these days/times are subject to change - especially prior to the close of registration. Any teams that interleague may follow a different schedule, to be announced late March. Practices typically end when the game schedule begins, but some coaches do have some practices after opening day.


BASEBALL & SOFTBALL MAJORS and JUNIOR DIVISIONS typically practice and play on Monday and Wednesday evenings for up to two (2) hours starting at 6:00 PM unless otherwise noted. However, these days/times are subject to change - especially prior to the close of registration. Any teams that interleague may follow a different schedule, to be announced late March. Practices typically end when the game schedule begins, but some coaches do have some practices after opening day.

What is included with my registration? 
Players receive a team jersey and a league hat.


What is the mandatory fundraising fee?
All players will be participating in fundraising.  Each player will receive 5 raffle tickets at a cost of $5.00 each for a total of $25.00.  This will be due at the time of registration.  Your player can then sell these raffle tickets to family, friends, etc or you can choose to just keep the tickets yourself for a chance to win some great cash prizes.  Top prize is $500 cash.  The stubs will need to be completed and turned in before opening day to be entered in the drawing to win.    If you register online, you will be charged the $25 as part of your registration process and then you will receive your raffle tickets in the mail.  If you register in person, you will pay the $25 and receive your raffle tickets at that time. 


What is the refund policy?
Milwood Little League only offers a refund if the league is advised before the first practice for Tee ball and before tryouts for Minors, Majors, and Juniors.
